NYCCC Team Meets ADPC to Advance Youth Led Climate Action in Pakistan

NYCCC x Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC)

The NYCCC team, led by M Umair Mufakir, CEO of NYCCC, had a productive meeting with Ms. Sana Zulfiqar, Climate and DRR Risk Governance Specialist at ADPC Pakistan. The meeting focused on key areas of collaboration, future planning, and opportunities for meaningful youth engagement.

We discussed the importance of recognizing youth as key stakeholders in climate action and related areas, including anticipatory action, disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate resilience, and preparedness. NYCCC is committed to empowering young people through practical climate action, green skills, leadership, innovation, and hands-on opportunities that translate knowledge into real-world impact.

We look forward to exploring meaningful collaboration and creating more opportunities for young people to contribute to a resilient and sustainable Pakistan.
