About NYCCC
Pakistan, one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, faces severe environmental challenges coupled with a rapidly growing population. With over 70% of its population under the age of 30/35, there is a unique opportunity to harness the potential of youth to tackle these pressing issues. The Native Youth Club for Climate Change (NYCCC) has emerged as the Pakistani largest climate youth organization over 5,000+ youth members, student groups, and individuals across Pakistan for climate action. NYCCC’s mission is to Empower Youth for Climate Action by advocating for climate, raising awareness, and equipping young people with the tools they need to engage in nation-building and environmental sustainability. Observing that many young individuals are engaged in activities not aligned with national interests, NYCCC has emerged as a vital nationwide alliance. The organization brings together Pakistani youth, various student groups, and individuals dedicated to combating climate change. NYCCC is committed to creating a platform where youth can unite to drive meaningful environmental progress, ensuring a sustainable future for Pakistan.
