Per-LCOY KP: Guest of Honour Mr Bilal Anwar, CEO NDRMF

We were honored to welcome Mr. Bilal Anwar CEO of the National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF), as the Guest of Honour at the Pre-Local Conference of Youth – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, held on July 28, 2025, at the Governor House, Peshawar.

In his address, Mr. Anwar emphasized the critical role of youth in disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation, underscoring the need for institutional collaboration to build a resilient Pakistan. He highlighted NDRMF’s efforts in strengthening Pakistan’s resilience through innovative disaster risk financing, capacity-building programs, and community-driven projects, with a special focus on empowering youth through training, awareness campaigns, and leadership opportunities in climate action.

Mr. Anwar’s presence held special significance, as he has been a steadfast supporter of NYCCC’s mission, championing youth-led climate action from the outset. We are deeply grateful for NDRMF’s continued support and trust in our work to foster a climate-resilient future.
