COP in My City 2026 Pakistan
Empowering Young People to Lead Climate Action
Young People 4 Climate (Y4C) โ COP in My City 2026 Pakistan is a national youth climate initiative designed to empower young people across Pakistan to take meaningful action on climate change, develop leadership skills, contribute to climate solutions, and engage in national and international climate policy processes.
The 2026 initiative places a special focus on young women, youth from underserved communities, and young people from diverse regions of Pakistan, providing them with opportunities to learn, participate, lead, and represent Pakistan on climate platforms.
The initiative is supported by partners including the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC), Prime Ministerโs Youth Programme, UNICEF, Generation Unlimited (GenU), and Pur Azm Pakistan, and contributes to the broader vision of Green Rising by equipping young people with the skills, agency, and opportunities needed to advance climate action and sustainable development.
Who Can Apply?
- College & university students
- Age: 18โ24 years
- Young people from across Pakistan
- Interest in climate action, environment, sustainability or youth leadership

Islamabad | Lahore | Peshawar | Karachi | Quetta | Gilgit | Muzaffarabad
Your Y4C Journey
1. Register
Complete the online application before 5 September 2026.
2. Application Review
Eligible applications will be reviewed and shortlisted.
3. City-Based Selection
Shortlisted youth will participate in selection activities in their respective cities.
4. Learn & Engage
Selected participants will take part in climate learning, discussions and leadership activities.
5. Take Climate Action
Participants will be encouraged to lead or support climate action in their communities.
6. National & Global Opportunities
Outstanding young leaders may have opportunities to participate in national and international climate forums and potentially represent Pakistan through the Young People’s Delegation.
